Incompetent

Well, the good news is that with a little help from my friend lindalinda, I was able to get more than one "pal" listed over here to the right. The bad news is that the links don't work. Ugh. I'm too annoyed to deal with it anymore tonight. I've also decided that I don't like the color scheme of my blog. Guess I'll deal with that later too. Being a blogger is much harder than I thought it would be.

Two interesting developments in my life:

1. It turns out that the guy I have been emailing with, we'll call him Captain, is a daddy. Yup, that's right, apparently he has a daughter. You may be tempted to ask for more details, but unfortunately, I don't have any. That's because I am not exactly supposed to have this information. I found it online. While doing a second round of google stalking. Yes, I said second round. (Lindalinda - are you proud? I learned these habits from you. How much did my Marshall House neighbor spend on his condo?) I'm not so sure how I feel about this, but I'll keep you updated. At this point I am really interested in finding out when and how he plans on letting me know. She can't be Secret So forever.

2. I have a date! I am way out of the game in terms of this whole formal dating scene. From now on out, we'll call him Arlo. I know him, but haven't seen him in about a year. (Since he and another former co-worker accosted me and quasi on the dancefloor in Otown). I wasn't attracted to him back then, but I figure who am I to be turning down date offers?
