Sad

Today I am sad. I don't want to go into the reasons for my sadness right now, but just know that in order to lift my spirits I have broken my 'no Christmas music before Thanksgiving' vow. The decorations and lights have been up around town since November 1, and all the stores have been playing music for weeks, but I have resisted. (Ok, I will admit that I listened to them in my office very briefly last week, but that doesn't really count). Today, however, I am fully engulfed in BFAW's Christmas 2005 mix.

Baby it's cold outside, and I already feel a little better.

Cheer up, Chiraz! If it's any consolation, Gtown crushed (Meat)Ball State last night. This is from the yahoo news article about the game:

“The Hoyas played again without swingman Tyler Crawford, who has lost 25 pounds during a battle with strep throat and is working to regain his strength.

Micah Rollin and Anthony Newell scored 10 points apiece to lead the Cardinals (2-4), who were playing their third game in four days and had to take a redeye to Washington after a Saturday game in a tournament in Las Vegas. Rollin got sick and had to miss stretches of the game.

"He gets really, really intense and throws up," Ronny Thompson said. "He's really intense in that way. We try to cut back on what he eats in pregame."

Weirder still than Crawford’s weight loss or Rollin’s “condition” was watching MeatBall State’s 5-foot white trainer attempt to console Rollin as he yakked on the sidelines.
